Violette Grimshaw
Violette Grimshaw Flower of Light FEMALE SIXTEEN | Straight Light Gods Fairy Queen/Goddess of Light and Truth |
personality
Violette is a very happy girl. She is almost always cheerful, and she has a habit of creating an air of good feelings, just by being around, because of her positivity. She’s got a love for sweets, and she perhaps that is what makes her such a sweet soul. She’s always full of energy, and she never seems to run out of stamina. She also has a tendency to try and help others if she notices they aren’t feeling happy.
As the goddess of Light, Violette obviously has an affinity for Light itself, and as a result she loves light and tends to gravitate towards not only lighter colors and lighter areas, but also toward lighter people. When she is around darker souls, she tends to bring out the lighter part of them simply by her aura of Light. As a result of her affinity to light, or maybe in addition to it, Violette dislikes darkness quite a bit. She is scared of light, not in the way that she wouldn’t ever go near darkness, but in the way that she is more wary and easily frightened in the dark. It’s easy to frighten her if you catch her off guard in the dark.
Violette has a love for beauty as well, and she loves causing other things and people(and herself) to be beautiful. She loves cute things, and anything cute is something Violette would naturally be attracted to. Violette is very good at matching colors and the sort, and can help other people, things, or even places look beautiful and glorious in a short amount of time if allowed. Violette herself is a very beautiful girl. It’s been said of her that “Heaven was unwise to let such a beautiful angel fall from the sky, for mankind itself might fall for her.” Violette doesn’t think this herself, but she does try to look acceptable whenever in public.
Violette is also a very flighty girl, capable of changing from one conversation to another on the other end of the conversational spectrum in mere moments without a moment’s notice. Obviously this effect isn’t just limited to speech, and Violette is extremely fickle both in decisions, but also in most aspects of life. She’s been known to be in mid-battle and to simply stop and examine something as simple as a flower because she was convinced that it was moving or something of the sort.
Violette has a love for others than knows few bounds. Violette loves helping people, and she loves creatures as well. There is little she’d do to help those she loves and cares about. In addition, she also has a deep love for Fairies and Fairy Pokemon. She’s been called the Faerie Queen on multiple occasions. Violette loves Fairies because of their cuteness, and their innocence despite their mischievous tricks.
Behind all of the cuteness, and the joy, is a fighter. A queen. A warrior. Violette has a love for battle, despite her happy nature. She’s been known to get very involved with her fights and the like when they happen, and she usually goes very over the top; once, an entire battlefield was destroyed by just one battle between her and a sparring partner. She doesn’t give up if she truly gets into a battle, and she’s not afraid to go all out to win.
Despite all of her antics, her smiley attitude and her hopeful aura, Violette was raised as a queen, a royal. She was raised knowing that people would try to lie to her, and she herself became great at deception. Violette has a darker side, one that isn’t afraid to lie to get what she wants. Hopefully, that side won’t surface anytime soon; for if it does, by the time someone realized her deceptions, it’d most likely be too late.

history
Violette was born a princess, first in line to become a queen in the relatively peaceful kingdom in which she lived. Her father did what it took for her to become queen material, teaching her etiquette, ruling tactics, leadership, from a young age, but Violette rarely went along with the lessons. Rather, Violette would often simply run off and forget about her duties to learn and would do as she pleased, and she was fine with this.
Things changed some when war threatened to hurt the kingdom; Violette’s father ordered her to begin learning how a kingdom and it’s monarch function during times of war, because he didn’t know if he’d survive the war, and he didn’t want his daughter to have to learn everything first hand, and he didn’t trust his advisors to guide her.
Violette resisted at first, but she sort of enjoyed learning about such things as war tactics and defensive measures to protect a castle. She listened intently and learned as much as she could, and it was all about to become very relevant, as her father had just died and battle, and the news was being brought to her. Before Violette heard of it though -- Everything went blank.
She awoke on an island, with no memory of how she got there. She decided that it was all part of her destiny anyway, and it wasn’t her job to try and get off; it’s not like she could have anyway. Violette accepts her current fate with calm, and isn’t all that worried about getting off, as she doesn’t miss the castle life all to greatly. If anything, she misses her dad now, but she has to accept that she’s likely not going to see him anytime soon.

Phoebe the Swablu ~

Chroma the Sylveon ~
This Sylveon has the ability to manipulate colors, which creates for an interesting ability, as well as making him an interesting opponent. Being a shiny variant, he's a little bit self-conscious about his appearance, and often alters his colors to appear like a "normal" Sylveon.
extra
Violette has three elemental controls: Light, Aura, and Warp Teleportation.
Light manipulation allows Violette to not only manipulation pure light in its raw form, but also in the way of it's material state, allowing her to create things out of light itself, and making them material. She also has the ability to create illusions and the like using Light refraction.
Aura allows Violette to control her aura in a number of ways. First of all, it gives her empathy, so she can sense emotions, feelings, ill and good wills, and the like, and surface thoughts if she tries. She can also create aura-based attacks using her own aura, and she can collaborate with practically anyone because she can alter her own aura to work with other magic signatures.
Warp Teleportation allows Violette to teleport to anywhere in eyesight, and to specific places she's set with a special Warp spell. It takes a bit to define where she wishes to go, so she's developed a way of using it in battle while taking out the middle man. She can teleport to any of her weapons(as they've been empowered with a warp spell), so she can throw her weapons(kunai and shuriken) and appear with them instantly wherever they are, creating opportunities for powerful physical attacks, and for spell transport if necessary.
