" close enough to be a newspaper " The M/W/Y is a close-enough-to-be-a-newspaper business run by someone living on the island. The author can change at any time, of course, but the material is basically the same. Included in every edition is some important information that is necessary to the island. You can even ask for an advertisement or something similar. And the workers of the 'paper' love to hear opinions about their work. Sometimes. I. The Tropical NewsThe island has been hopping recently with a bunch of activity! Or, not as much as usual, but you get the idea. New people seem to be dropping out of the sky again, and the leaders of the houses are rushing to claim who they get in their group! Feels like old times. There is also a special thing going on, where Gods and Goddesses seem to be appearing more often. Better say your prayers! Along with that, special creatures seem to be appearing more often on the island. Better nab one while you have the chance! II. 'I say yo, you say hey! Who's in trouble today?'Shout-out to the newest members on the island. There isn't much to report here, except that it is vital all house members follows the rules of the island. No house is excused, looking at you Gods. With that in mind, please do not set fire to the Sticky Inn again. Burnt honey doesn't smell too good, alright? III. Weather UpdatesThe sun is shining and the sand is hot! Perfect day for some coconut rum on the beach. There is a pretty good Tiki Bar around here somewhere, run by some guy with a magic pig, ya know. Be sure to visit and get a drink in order to enjoy your time on the island even more! Just don't drink any if you recently woke up, that might make your headache worse. IV. AdvertisementsThere are none this go around, baby, check back later and there might be some. V. What's got the bees buzzing?With the first real edition of this paper and the current thingy, event-thing, going on, everything is buzzing! Otherwise, not much to report. Violette looks at the paper and reads some. "Hmm..how strange..why would a God set fire to things when they could just use it to their advantage...Ooh! there's an advertisement section! Maybe I can put one in sometime..but..I don't know what to put..teehee! I should visit the tiki bar too..if only to see that piggy!" She exclaims to no one in particular as she plays around with the paper some after finishing reading it.

Radio: *picks up paper, covers face, passes out in lawnchair under afternoon sun*
Walking down the beach, thinking how tired it was, and how bright the afternoon seemed to be. He really regretted staying up all night enjoying that nice cool salty breeze of coming off the ocean. When he noticed a some sort of parchment on the ground partially buried in the sand. "What's this?" he asked himself bending over to pick it. He opened it up, a large smile appeared, at what had appeared to be a newspaper for the island. He hasn't found one of these in a good while, beginning to walk back over to the Tiki Bar. He looked for the best lawn-chair to lay in to absorb this information, finding a chair he slouched himself into it. Quickly after covering his face with the paper, he fell asleep with a snore.

He was supposed to be aware of things on the island. After all, his given task was to make sure that everyone stayed more or less alive, at least until they'd lived out the amount of time that they'd been given. So it made sense to stay updated on the affairs of mortals, if only to keep them from murdering each other. The fact that they were having another surge of newcomers was... less than encouraging, especially if even more gods were going to be showing up. His lover was bad enough, having even more deities to mess with the balance of things- ugh, work was going to get a lot more difficult, he could feel it. "Saggezza, remind me to have a chat with Mirun later?" Maybe Death could help him out with keeping things in check- after all, if everyone started falling over dead all at once, the Reaper would have a ridiculous amount of work on his hands, and surely he wouldn't want that.
