The author can change at any time, of course, but the material is basically the same. Included in every edition is some important information that is necessary to the island. You can even ask for an advertisement or something similar. And the workers of the 'paper' love to hear opinions about their work. Sometimes. I. The Tropical NewsThings seem to be moving so fast! Everyone is getting up in a tizzy for fall! Won't that be exciting? **cricket noises** Right, well, anyway. Tropical News. There was a tsunami a few miles south of the southern most island. I think it caused a species of squirrel to go extinct, but I hear some wildlife conservationist are trying to bring the squirrel back. So if any walnuts are being thrown at you, they were successful. II. 'I say yo, you say hey! Who's in trouble today?'WHAT DID I SAY LAST WEEK?? STOP SETTING FIRE TO THE STICKY INN. GOOD GODS PEOPLE YOU ARE WORSE THAN FOUR YEAR OLDS HIGH ON KOOL-AID! -coughs- Anyway, nothing else to report except that fire. everything else is going fine! Oh, but matches, candles, and anything else that is flammable are no longer allowed in Sticky Inn. Including your creatures that have fire coming from their backs or whatever. Leave them outside. Tie them to a fence post or something, III. Weather UpdatesThere is a chill in the air with fall approaching! But you can still play on the beach. There are some giant clouds in the air! All white and puffy and happy. Except that one coming in from the west... yeah, see that thing? It's huge, man. I wonder if it will bring rain. While I was staring at it the other day, I saw some flashes of lighting in it. So yeah, watch out, bring your boats inside. Oh, and the children. Yeah, don't forget them. But get the boats in first, alright? IV. AdvertisementsThere are none this go around, baby, check back later and there might be some. V. What's got the bees buzzing?We would like to remind all current civilians on the island, and the new ones coming in, that the next competition for house points will be starting soon! He stretched after reading the paper again that month, tossing it to his corgi Alfredo to chew up. "A storm is coming in, huh?" He muttered. "I hope no one is stupid enough to go out to sea during that time or something, or else I'm going to have even more work to do. Like damn." He flopped down on the hard cobble stone floor of his temple, yawning. "Eh, a nap sounds good though. G'night, Alfredo."

"Eeeeh?" The brunet leaned his back against the large trunk of a tree, one leg crossed over the other. His eyebrows furrowed in frustration as his gaze swept across the newspaper. "Looks like there's rain heading our way, everyone, and it looks like you'll have to cut back on the squirrels." A chorus of irritated hisses followed. Yuki glanced up from the paper, a grin stretching across his face. "Samurai and Tero-chan will be fine on their own. Everyone else, it looks like we're sleeping indoors again!" Of course, by this he meant they would be lounging about the temples of other gods. Seriously, anyone who still had a problem with it should get over themselves. They have done it so much already that they should be used to it by now. Holding the newspaper by a corner, he held the paper out in front of it, making it jump up and down as Mau tried to bat at the paper. After one read, this was really all it was good for.

"So winter is coming?" he mumbled to himself, shoving a glass at one of the usual customers that came to visit for some odd reason. He didn't know why, perhaps they were a lumberjack or something. "That's good. Finally the weather will be bearable again." Even if there was snow outside, because logic. He liked the cold. And so did his cats more or less. Either way, it meant peaceful naps cause the door would be snowed in with, hopefully, no one else in the building.

Did he care about human affairs? No, no he did not. Their stupid little establishments burning down was mildly interesting at best- might have been fun to watch, sure, but now that it was over he had little reason to pay it much attention. The weather getting colder could be taken as good news- it was strangely warm here, nothing at all like the grey, stormy coasts of his homeland, it wasn't like he was going to complain. Meh. This was boring, that was boring, was there really anything worth his- oh, wait, what was that? A hurricane, they said? Chaos, water, and death? Mmm, he liked the sound of that. He chuckled, rereading the bit about the children with almost too much relish. No one would miss one or two of them, right? He could always use a snack...
